RCR SEMINAR AND LECTURES

The Mass General Brigham RCR Program requires participating trainees, fellows, and career development awardees to attend the Mass General Brigham RCR Seminar course, as well as four hospital-based lectures or discussion sessions within 12 months of attending the seminar.

MASS GENERAL BRIGHAM RCR SEMINAR

The four-hour Mass General Brigham (MGB) RCR seminar is required within 12-months of the NIH or NSF appointment date or, if a direct award, e.g., an F or K award, as of the award effective date.

The Mass General Brigham RCR seminar includes faculty presentations and discussions on authorship, data management, documentation and integrity, conflict of interest and interactions with industry, research misconduct, and postaward financial management. The seminar also includes an overview of basic regulatory and institutional requirements for research involving human subjects, stem cells, animals, and biohazards/recombinant DNA.

LECTURES/DISCUSSIONS ELIGIBLE FOR RCR CREDIT

All Mass General Brigham Enterprise-level RCR courses are listed on our Research Trainee Education Pathway site page. Your hospital may offer additional institution-specific trainings in addition to the Mass General Brigham trainings.

RCR Lectures/Discussions must be attended LIVE (recorded lectures are not eligible for RCR credit).
