COURSE DESCRIPTION
This 90-minute MGB RCR Refresher includes faculty presentations and discussions on the ethical conduct of research, rigor and reproducibility, bias in science and scientific integrity; data management and security; diversity, equity, and inclusion; conflicts of interest and interactions with industry; and research misconduct. The seminar also includes a refresher of basic regulatory and institutional requirements for RCR training. All trainees, fellows, and scholars receiving support from a NIH training grant (institutional or individual), career development award, fellowship, research education grant, or dissertation research grant are required to complete RCR training at least once during each career stage, and at a frequency of no less than once every four years. Researchers with an outstanding RCR Refresher requirement are required to enroll in this course.
