ANTI-BRIBERY AND FOREIGN CORRUPT PRACTICES ACT AWARENESS TRAINING

On occasion, an industry sponsor may require the PI and staff of a clinical trial to complete anti-bribery and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) awareness training as a requirement of a clinical trial agreement. FCPA awareness training is available through the Mass General Brigham Research Compliance Office. Please email MGB Research Compliance for more information.​​

RESPONSIBLE PARTIES

Mass General Brigham Clinical Trials Office

Notify Mass General Brigham Research Compliance when a contract has been, or will be, signed that requires anti-bribery and FCPA awareness training.

Principal Investigator

Identify all staff funded by, or working on, a clinical trail whose sponsor requires anti-bribery training, and designate a point of contact for the Mass General Brigham Research Compliance Office (i.e., the PI, an administrative assistance, or the PI’s department or grant administrator).

Mass General Brigham Research Compliance Office

Provide anti-bribery and FCPA awareness training, and maintain training documentation.
